About
Equipo is focused on providing opportunities for youth to learn science, technology, engineering and mathematics skills in an engaging, immersive, environment while creating youth community projects. We focus on engaging youth and enabling them to give back to their community. We build real-world, applicable skills as well as teamwork, perseverance, disaster management, and collaboration on a local, state, national and international level.
Our current projects include Panama City, Panama as well as Boquete, Panama. In Panama City we are helping youth from Kuna Nega receive adequate medical and dental care. In Boquete we are working with college and high school student to learn GIS skills and do community projects.
Future projects may include South Africa and Romania.
